Panic: The Story of Modern Financial Insanity Michael Lewis W.W. Norton and Co. 2008, 352 pages
Looking at the cover, one might think this book will be exciting to read. However, looks can be deceiving. Lewis is not the author, but more of a collaborator due to the fact that this book contains numerous short articles/stories from many authors. Topics include the internet bubble and the stock market crash of 1987. The book was a little hard to read at times due to the in-depth level of the writing. While the book was interesting at times, maybe you should skip over this one and read Lewis' popular book "Liar's Poker". Overall Rating = 2.5 / 5 Price: $19.99 USD |
